NAPLES, Fla. (Jan. 23, 2012) – EBL Partners, a construction and project management firm based in Naples, has announced the launch of EBL Interiors to provide stylistic design services for single- and multi-family residences, including new construction and renovation projects.
The new division comes after the recent acquisition of Studio Snaidero Naples, an independent “Foundation Studio” in the Snaidero-USA network of dealers, which will now operate under the EBL Interiors name. Jeff Mahon, the studio’s previous owner, will continue to be a part of the new organization.
Mahon began designing and building homes in the Cleveland area in the 1980s before transitioning to the cabinetry business in 1990. About five years later, he shifted his focus to cabinetry made by Snaidero, Italy’s premier cabinetmaker and in January 2002, he took over Studio Snaidero Naples. Since that time, Mahon has designed countless kitchens utilizing the most cutting-edge appliances and finishes. His expertise and experience with Snaidero is invaluable to EBL customers.
The beginnings of the interiors division started with EBL Partners collaborating with Mahon on the Canyon Ranch project in Miami Beach. According to Paul Benson, president of EBL, the vision is to take two penthouse levels of raw space and transform it into eight comfortable sized residences. Mahon presented Benson and other executives with an advanced 3D rendering of the kitchen design—technology that literally allowed a walk through of the kitchen. The final result was an elegant finish package that included Snaidero cabinetry, fine European appliances and modern fixtures.
The project was a grand success, resulting in eight units being sold in eight hours. Impressed with the superior quality products, as well as the professional, flawless installation, Benson engaged Mahon to renovate the kitchen in his personal residence.
“Working with Jeff helped me to see that this was our company’s missing link,” explains Benson. “The superior quality and craftsmanship of the Snaidero product was an ideal fit for the vertical integration of EBL Partners and what we are trying to accomplish as a premier construction company.”
Vertical integration simply dictates that one company controls the end product, as well as its component parts—a key factor in EBL’s vision. Benson then purchased Studio Snaidero Naples and formed EBL Interiors. In the meantime, he realized that beyond a beautiful kitchen was a whole home that could also be transformed in the same way. Therefore, the new division has expanded to include kitchen and bath fixtures, interior doors, furniture and appliances by the world’s most esteemed brands.
“It’s important to keep up with all of the latest advancements and trends in the industry—from wall coverings to appliances and cabinetry,” says Mahon. “We use that knowledge to incorporate the latest proven techniques and technology to ensure a beautiful, functional and advanced kitchen.”
Function is a top priority in any space designed by EBL Interiors. “In a kitchen, for example, my goal is to create a room that is function for one individual to prepare a meal for the family, yet allow for a team of caterers to come in and prepare for a party,” says Mahon.
EBL Partners is headquartered in Naples, Florida. EBL provides construction and residential renovation services. Its experience profile includes the successful completion of projects in various sectors, including commercial, hospitality and residential. EBL serves clients throughout Florida and across the country. The firm is currently engaged in projects in New York, Florida and Georgia.
The new EBL Interiors showroom—which will be open to the public and to the trade—is scheduled to open in March at 1482 Rail Head Boulevard, in Naples. The showroom will feature samples of fine European cabinetry, furniture, interior doors, appliances, custom hoods and stainless steel counter tops.
